I’ve been using this Bay Rum bar soap for a week now, and it’s become one of my favorites. The scent is warm and spicy with a nice blend of bay rum and cinnamon—not overpowering, but definitely noticeable and masculine. It gives the shower a really refreshing, almost old-school barbershop vibe.The bar itself feels high quality. It lathers well and cleans thoroughly without leaving my skin feeling dry or tight. The soap itself is clearly a small batch premium production. Visually it looks fine, it's a thick rectangular block, much like what it looks like in the description.It's heavy. it's also almost twice the size of a standard bar of soap so if you're evaluating this on price (though at this level of premium, it's for people prepared to pay a bit more for other factors) probably cut the price in half before comparing it to other soaps.It lathers up well. It washes off fully, no greasy or slippery residue. Overall it's an outstanding soap to use.I got the Bay Rum, so what does it smell like? Good news, not like rum :). It has a unique but mild scent. I would describe it as maybe a cousin to cinammon. Either way, it's mild, and smells really nice. I really like the scent, it's premium smelling.Overall this is absolutely a premium soap with no criticism. A big block of soap so good value that way. Lathers and rinses off fully. Smells great, unique but not overpowering. I've tried other premium soaps, this exceeds every other one I've tried.

I gave this to my son to use instead of all the harsh chemicals that are in body wash. It smells strong but didn’t bother me. I don’t really know what Bay Rum is supposed to It smells like but this smelled like strong cinnamon. The soap spreads on the skin smoothly when wet. It lathers nicely and washes without residue. Skin feels soft, smooth and clean. You feel refreshed after using it. The size of the soap is larger than other soap I have so it should last long. I love all natural ingredients of olive oil, orange oil, cinnamon oil, bay rum oil, coconut oil, palm oil, shea butter, and kaolin clay. Another plus is it is made in Canada.
